Architectural Charms

关于越南，首先想到的应该是芽庄的热闹，西贡街头的浪漫。同时，作为东南亚独有的菜肴，越南料理自然是人们心中关于异度最独特的记忆。
When it comes to Vietnam, the first thing that comes into our mind is the noisiness of Nha Trang, as well as the romance of the streets of Saigon. At the same time, as the unique dishes in Southeast Asia, Vietnamese cuisine naturally becomes the most unique memory in people’s minds about foreign lands.

见字会面，望越便是一场围绕着越南料理，建筑出的浪漫冒险。
Reading the words and meeting some souls, Towards Vietnam is a romantic adventure about architectures revolving around Vietnamese cuisine.

设计师从女性视角出发，以裙裾造型作为建筑外观与主要视觉，饱含着浪漫元素的空间，热烈展示着温暖洋溢的异国风情。
Designers start from the perspectives of females and view the shapes of feminine skirts as the main visual styles and the facade of the buildings. The design contains space full of romantic elements and presents the warm foreign styles with whole enthusiasm.

Elegance· Endogeny
Show the dynamic aesthetics with shadows and lights

一扇门，敞开即是一个新世界，是入场的仪式，也是退场的谢幕。作为建筑整体的开端，所有意象皆由此衍生。门厅向外凸出的不规则环柱由严密而规整的陶土砖拼合而成，栉次鳞比的排列印刻出空间的庄重与复古，营造大隐隐于市的独特风情。
The door opens a new world and gives the entering ceremony as well as the curtain call of ending. As the beginning of the whole architecture, all the symbols are generated from the door.The irregular ring pillars extruding from the lobby are composed of tight and regular terracotta bricks. Neat arrangement engraves the solemnness and vintage of space, creating the unique style of hermitage.

自门扇绽出的机械花朵，是迎客时必需的礼仪。在陶土与金属硬朗质感的衬托下，传统意义上柔软细腻的花瓣，好似拥有永不凋谢的旺盛内力。这也正是设计师对主理人温柔又不失锋芒的致意。
The mechanical flowers blooming from the door show the necessary etiquette when welcoming guests.With the contrast of terracotta and the tough texture of metals, the traditionally soft and exquisite flowers seem to embrace the vigorous inner power of never withering away. This is also the compliments of designers to the persons in charge with both gentleness and strictness.

纯静之地，追寻空间本态

清晨的阳光从高大的树木间泻到走廊前空地，到处是一根根光柱，晨蔼如刚出生的魂灵在其间游移。

Chasing the originality of space
The morning sunshine pours at the empty lands in front of the corridor from the large trees. There are numbers of light columns everywhere. The morning mists swing among the lights like new-born souls. — Haruki Murakami

除却味蕾的充盈，食客对于用餐环境的体验也越发重视。于是，空间的氛围打造将着力点置于“纯静”的输出，“纯”即颜色回归统一。温暖的陶土色既能调和美食色泽，又可延伸空间视觉。“静”即空间氛围呈现。静待佳肴的时刻，光线轻柔落于木质桌面，暂时抛却外在烦忧，专注于内心宁静，享受美食的同时亦可实现情绪的淡化。
Apart from the fullness of the taste, tasters put more emphasis on the experience of the dining environment. Therefore, the creation of the spatial atmosphere focuses on the output of the conception of purity. Purity means the unity of colors. Warm terracotta color can both mediate the luster of cuisines and extend the spatial vision. Motionlessness means the presentation of the spatial atmosphere. The moment when tasters are waiting for the cuisines, the lights softly fall onto the wooden table. Temporarily removing the worldly worries and focusing on the inner peace, tasters can enjoy the wonderful dishes while achieving the fading of emotions.

延展的平面并无多余的装饰，任由光影随着时间推移作锦上添花的效果。于是，时间以距离为单位被具象化，与柔和之物汇集成空间的语言。落座于此，流逝的时间不会催生出仓促的情绪，而是淡化成钟表正常运作的符号。一切都开始平缓下来，慢下来，与生活撞个满怀。
The extended plane has no other ornament and receives additional positive effects while the lights switch as time passes. Therefore, time is made to be concrete when it is measured by distance and becomes the language of space when combined with soft objects. When seated here, the passing time will not generate hasty emotions; however, it will fade into the symbols of the clocks work as it should.Everything starts to calm down and slow down to have a crush on life.

To the softness
Taking the harmonious images

区别于重口味、大众化的主流餐饮，清新、酸甜可口的越南料理更多强调食材本真的味道，恰到好处的调料并不掩盖食材的鲜嫩，只作提味的效果。为了更好契合餐品的调性，追求饮食带给味蕾清新自然的体验，设计师仅保留空间中几处点缀的装饰，来衬托建筑原有的纯粹。
Different from the heavy taste and common taste of the mainstream catering, the fresh and sour-sweet delicious Vietnamese cuisines emphasize more the original tastes of the materials. The suitable seasoning will not cover the deliciousness nor the softness of the food; instead, it works in adding condiment. In order to meet the states of the cuisines and to obtain the natural and fresh experience of the flavor, designers only maintain the several ornaments in the space to stress out the pureness the buildings have before.

空间里不同功能区都有着明晰的视觉界限，低饱和度的光线为不同事物喻以温柔的语言。走近共有的场域，却又是热闹而喧哗的气息。
Different functional zones have distinct visual limits in space. Low-saturated lights give different objects soft languages. When you enter the common districts, you will find there’s again the atmosphere of noisiness and loudness.

半包围式的餐区设计在提高空间利用率的同时，亦打造了视觉上的焦点。圆润的设计结构与吊灯的柔美曲线相呼应，弱化了吊灯近距离的压迫感，使空间张弛有度、圆润饱满。

梦幻 · 温暖
镜中花，藏琉璃梦境

Flowers in the mirror, hidden in the dreams of colored glaze

实用性和艺术性从不相悖，设计师在保障公共区域利用度的同时，将设计思路向上拓展，内部空间的设计美学便自然地聚焦于此。木质调的色泽让倒映在顶面的整体画面并不显得杂乱，反而为空间提供更多的光效，和谐又不失华丽。镜面的倒映，让可丈量的区域被拉扯成正反两种状态。相别于传统的平面折射，虚化的处理使建筑的线条产生畸变，映照于餐厅上空，像一席涟漪荡漾的水域，交织梦幻与现实。
Practicability never excludes artistry. When assuring the use ratio of common zones, designers try to upgrade their designing thoughts. The designing aesthetics of the inner space is naturally mixed here. The wooden luster makes the whole frame reflected onto the top surface not random any longer. Instead, it provides more lighting effects for the space which are harmonious and fabulous.The reflection of the mirror can extend the measurable space into two states, positive and negative. Differing from the conventional plane reflection, the virtualizing disposition makes the lines of buildings into distortion. When reflected onto the upper side of the canteen, it’s like a water area that contains much ripples, combining both the fantasy and the reality.

金属围栏简练的线条构筑空间的张力，环绕着圆形桌面与垂挂的花束吊灯交相辉映。岁月生生不息，时间脉搏昼夜不止，花朵的保质期限被刻以永恒。凹凸的细致纹理彰显生命流动的深刻意韵，同时花瓣的构造与门口机械花朵相呼应，形成室内外的设计联动。
The simple lines of the metal rails add the extension of the space, circling the round table and reflecting with the dangling flower ceiling lamps.Life continuous without stop and time passes minute by minute. The expiration date of the flowers is set to be eternal. The exquisite textures that rise and fall show the deep meaning of the flowing life. At the same time, the construction of flowers echoes with the mechanical flowers at the door, creating the link between the indoor and outdoor designs.

“像艺术家一样精膳每一份料理”
Treating every cuisine nicely like an artist.

料理师同艺术家有着本质的联系，以刀具代替画笔，以食材代替颜料，用案板做画布，每一道料理的完成都是艺术的诞生。当精心制作的美味料理呈现在顾客面前时，即是完成了一次艺术作品的展现。
Chefs have their intrinsic relationship with artists. Replacing the painting tools with knives, the paintings with foods, the clothes with chopping board, every cuisine is finished like a piece of art. When then delicious food is served before guests, the presentation of an art work is accomplished.

Deep feelings are communicated together during the past days and today

包厢作为社交空间中较为私密的场合，隔绝了相对喧闹的外界干扰，自成一派的圈起小范围的热闹。所谓闹中取静，其中的静是不与旁人分享的情谊，亦是不干扰的温柔。

Private rooms are the relatively secret places in social communications which get rid of the noisy disruption from the outside space and leave a piece of private lively atmosphere inside. The so-called notion of extracting peacefulness from the noisy environment is explained here. The peacefulness doesn’t mean objecting any relationship with other affections. It’s the consideration of not disrupting.
