The scenery reflected on the transparent surface, like the melted ice in a glass or the river bottom swaying in the water, has a mysterious charm that mesmerizes people. Using the phenomenon of light refraction common to everyday life, this block was fabricated to bring an intentional change to the environment. The refracted ray was simulated on a computer, with the amount of refraction changed gradually as it went to the edge. By connecting the planes of different angles with a 5mm square grid with a continuous face, a phenomenon was created in which the light and color from the far side appearing at each coordinate are randomly replaced in spite of the smooth surface.
