鮨·沢餐厅选址古都西安，坐落于南湖湖畔。设计师选用了西安当地旧屋拆除后保留下来的老旧木材，加以处理后融入空间中。突出“时间”的痕迹，与十三朝古都遥相呼应。空间整体采用自然朴素的设计风格，并用造景点缀升华，简约却庄重。

Sawa Sushi is a traditional Japanese Cuisine restaurant which is located in Xi’an, besides the Nanhu Lake. The designer uses recycle old wood from the dismantled old houses in the city, and incorporated into the space. The traces of “time” are highlighted and echoing the ancient capital of the 13 dynasty. The whole space designed in a natural and simple style, and sublimated with landscaping, simple but dignified.

外观 The facade

由青苔、黑松、石板构成的日式传统庭院是空间传递给客人的第一印象。自然的氛围撇开尘世喧嚣熙攘，如世外桃源一般。竹垣为扶手，沿石阶而上，古朴自然的石灯笼与天然的石材点缀其中，为食客接风洗尘。

The traditional Japanese garden made of green moss, black pine and stone slabs is the first impression that the space conveys to the guests. The natural atmosphere is like a paradise, leaving aside the hustle and bustle of the world. The bamboo as the handrail, and the stone steps are decorated with ancient and natural stone lanterns and natural stones to greet the guests.

前厅 The front Hall

木制的隔扇门徐徐开启，现场手工打磨的肌理漆与极具颗粒质感的金属锈板组成的墙面映入宾客眼中。粗糙的墙面与精致的细木格栅门形成了鲜明的对比，二者在温暖的灯光氛围下更凸显出其质感。底部老榆木的踢脚，带着岁月沉淀的痕迹延续整个空间。墙体转折处老木头立柱与石基的组合也意在呼应古都的建筑文化。

Opening the wooden partition door, the surface is composed of hand-polished texture paint and granular metal rust plate. The rough wall surface forms a sharp contrast with the exquisite wood grille door, and both of them highlight their texture under the warm lighting atmosphere. The plinth is made of the old elm wood which extend the entire space, with the traces of years. The combination of old wooden columns and stone base at the corner of the wall is also intended to echo the architectural culture of the ancient capital.

公共区域 The public area

步入餐厅内部，幽静的廊道尽头点缀着禅意的“花道”艺术品，为静谧之物赋予生命力。板前料理区的灯光透过墙壁的缝隙若隐若现，令食客不禁想上前一探究竟。设计师将庭院造景引入室内廊道一侧。以深色的花岗岩自然面石板为背景，散落的砂石为地面，翠绿的植物为点缀，伴随着潺潺的水流声，使得前来就餐的宾客们能够感受到别样的景致。

Walking into the restaurant, the quiet corridor is decorated with Zen ikebana artworks, giving life to things. The light in the itamae dining area appears through the cracks in the walls, making guests want to come up. The designer brings the courtyard landscape into the side of the interior corridor. With dark granite slabs as the background, scattered gravel as the floor and decorate with green plants, along with the sound of gurgling water, guests can feel the special scenery.

板前料理 The itamae dining area

穿过幽静的廊道，到达了整个空间的中心-板前料理区，规则的木格搭配两种不同纹理的竹编，组成板前区的天花以及两侧墙体。“光影相生，润泽万物”,日本传统和纸构成的发光背景与两侧透过木格散发出的微光在空间中交相辉映。

Through the quiet corridor, guests reach the center of the space – the itamae dining area. The regular wooden lattice with two different textures of bamboo weave forms the ceiling and the walls of the itamae area. The luminous backdrop which made of traditional Japanese washi paper and the shimmering light emanating from the wooden lattice on both sides are reflected in the space.

包间 The private room

六人包间与空间整体风格相统一，幽静而深邃，质朴且精致。不同于公共区域使用的的凹凸质感肌理漆，包间内使用的肌理漆更为细腻，旨在为食客营造更为安静的就餐感受。包间的视觉中心为一枚整面自然木板作为就餐桌面，带来一种返朴归真之感。

There is only one private room in the restaurant. The six-sit private room is unified with the overall style of the space, that is quiet and profound, rustic and exquisite. Unlike the convex texture paint used in the public area, the texture paint used in the private room is smoother, aiming to create a quiet dining experience for guests. The visual center of the private room is a natural wood panel as the dining table, bringing guests a sense of simplicity.

在整个空间中，设计师都刻意选用了存留手工痕迹的材质。空间中各种因素造就了材料独一无二的色泽。因时间流动形成的独特肌理以及随时间变化的材质表面，都在提醒着宾客，岁月的痕迹正流淌于空间之中。

Throughout the interior space, the designer has chosen materials that retain traces of handcraft deliberately. Various factors in the space create the unique color of the materials. The unique texture formed by the flow of time and the surface of the material that changes over time remind guests that the traces of time are flowing through the space.
