Attentiveness to someone’s own fitness can be the key to his life attitude.
Y., a new brandthat combines coffee and fitness. It advocates a healthy lifestyle that intermingles coffee with fitness. Coffee is the perfect supplement for fitness enthusiasts, just as fitness is the best habit for coffee lovers.
As the first concept store of Y. aims to create a multi-dimensional integration of coffee and fitness community. That is the primary concept of the founder. To strengthen the brand concept by interior design, it was divided into three steps, dissolve the boundary, infiltrate the line of sight, and merge the space to let the idea come true.
Inner and Outer Space
Inner space is a dynamic and energetic fitness community; the outer space is a relaxing and comfortable appreciation area. There are fitness enthusiasts who are immersed in training and elegant people who enjoy the smell of roasted coffee. There are passionate “red heart” inside and there are calm thinking “silver brain” outside. Inner and outer space can bring out entirely different but coexisting experiences.
We use boundary ablation to achieve mutual penetration between fitness community and coffee space. The wall between two spaces, by reserving and folding to form the window and path of the space.

Dynamic and Static
Fitness is a dynamic process, which requires open spaces. The mode of fitness is mostly divided into aerobic and anaerobic training, so that we use different layouts to meet the demands.
To reintegrate the original space, we built a truss on the post, which can be regarded as the Red Heart after demolish the partition wall. Other spaces are expanded along the heart.
The aerobic training area is a runway training ground enlarged by stretching at the origin point, surrounded by anaerobic training area. Thickened walls are used to be storage and dressing room.
The fitness area spreads out around the Red Heart carries all the fitness activities in the space.
Coffee area requires a relatively quiet environment to accommodate a production space and drinking area.
The boundary of the fitness space which forms coffee area between the semi-enclosed steel sheet wall and the external facade, is regarded as the Silver Brian. The coffee area operates externally and serves internal fitness members at the same time.
The operation space and drinking space are connected by steps through the arc exit stage. The first level of the exit stage assumes the seat function, the second level can be used as an exhibition, and the superior naturally becomes the service bar of the fitness area.
The rest area, which grows according to the boundary of the arc training ground, carries all the coffee business and activities.
Multi Definition of space
To make full use of the net height of 4.8 m, two boxes are put in the space. The ground box contains the dressing function. Short side of the box and the sheet wall surround the entrance space with a winding path, and the long side of the box separates the training area and the dressing space. The floating box holds the shower and logistics functions with the equipment storage area below. Along with the transformation of the activity, experience of different scales and scenes, people can feel the multi-level internal space.
The stainless steel element is the clue of the whole space. Sheet walls, boxes and steps are used as boundaries of multiple spaces. Red and black colors of the fitness area form a strong visual contrast, which helps to stimulate exercise enthusiasm. The use of mirror materials not only enhances the sense of extension of the space, but also becomes a visual companion for fitness people to self-supervise and improve.
Y.is intended to break the traditional-single cafeteria or single gym, but to integrate and give it a new definition. This is exactly Y-point concept store’s management philosophy-integration and coexistence.
