武汉·钟书阁图书馆坐落于武汉长江右岸之侧的华侨城·红坊，以武钢红房子片区的苏式建筑风格为基础，以红钢之丘为设计主题，从中国重要礼器“樽”汲取灵感，首次创造市场全新的书店空间，呼应过去更放眼未来，延续武汉卓尔不群的时代精神，以中国工业至尊的光辉，铸钟书阁文教之基的宏愿。

Wuhan Zhongshuge Library is located in the Overseas Chinese Town Red Square on the right bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan. It is based on the Su-style architectural style in the Red House area of WISCO, with the design theme of the Red Steel Hill, and draws inspiration from China’s important ritual vessel “Bottle”, Creating a brand new bookstore space in the market for the first time, echoing the past and looking to the future, continuing Wuhan’s extraordinary spirit of the times, and building the ambition of Zhongshuge as the foundation of culture and education with the glory of China’s industrial supremacy.

在设计理念中，引申中国钟书对于国內教育的宏愿理想重新淬炼经典，钟书阁引用古代青铜礼器的「樽」不仅喻意红钢冶炼精神亦有「移樽就教」学识传递交流的譬喻，在原有建筑风格中的红墙在项目中得以保留修复併与当代简约设计手段融合，将这个精神从建筑延续到室内。首先映入眼帘的是以“樽”的形态衍生创造的书架造型赋予书店新的空间架构表现。以近似古铜主色调的木质材料包覆整个空间，将阅读的环境以更纯粹极简的方式呈现，拋开过度忙碌的商务活动，将视觉延展开阔，豁然开朗。

In the design concept, the Chinese Zhongshu’s aspiration for domestic education is refining the classics. Zhong Shuge’s quotation of the ancient bronze ritual vessel “bottles” not only symbolizes the spirit of Honggang smelting, but also has an analogy of “moving bottles to teach” knowledge transmission and communication. In the original The red wall in the architectural style was preserved and restored in the project and merged with contemporary minimalist design methods, extending this spirit from the building to the interior. The first thing that catches the eye is the shape of the bookshelf derived from the shape of the “bottle” that gives the bookstore a new spatial structure. The entire space is covered with wooden materials similar to the main tone of bronze, presenting the reading environment in a more pure and minimalist way, putting aside the over-busy business activities, expanding the vision and suddenly enlightening.

去掉不必要的繁复，以更绝对的线条，更合逻辑的空间组合，让武汉·钟书阁图书馆回归阅读的本源，延续历史，淬炼经典，既立于喧闹城市中的地标，也成为当代书店新风格的典范。与武汉的厚重历史相互辉映，呼应过去更放眼未来，延续武汉卓尔不群的时代精神，以武汉工业至尊的光辉，铸钟书阁文教之基的宏愿。
